Following a recent study commissioned to better understand the needs of our potential customers, we have found that there are two main groups of people that would like to start a vending machine business. Their motivation and ultimate goal is the same, they all want to increase their income, benefit from a cash business and operate a simple business with great profits.

What are the main differences?

On one hand we have a group of people that are young entrepreneurs at heart, currently working full time as employees, usually with young families with the spouse also working full time. The time available to operate a business is around 2 to 3 days per month and they can afford an investment of up to $40,000 on a business that can be managed from home and that doesn’t require any special infrastructure.

On the other hand we have a group of people with business ownership experience or professional executive background, who are looking to diversify their income sources. They may be thinking to build a business for retirement or they may be contemplating an income replacement solution that also provides free-time and lifestyle together with a sound return on investment and good profits. They contemplate vending as a business opportunity that should be established on a medium to big commercial scale and require a significant level of associated operation services that will allow them to concentrate on the business strategy. Investment budget available in this group starts at $50,000 and income goals are in excess of $30,000 per year.
